Gerry Austin

Gerry Austin is originally from London, England, and has been coaching soccer in America since 1993. He is now a permanent resident in the US. Austin lives and coaches at one of the most successful female soccer clubs, FC Virginia. As a young player, Austin represented London Schoolboys and was an apprentice at both QPR and Brentford going on to play for various senior amateur semi-pro clubs in England. 

Austin first started coaching within the USL in 1995, when he joined Brett Mosen as assistant coach for the Nashville Metros. Since then, Austin has become an integral part of Mosenʼs coaching staff as they continued to work together at a number of USL clubs. With a USSF National �B� License and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, Austin offers a wide range of coaching experience, having worked with grass roots and professional players. Before taking a senior coaching role at FC Virginia, Austin was the head coach at Oglethorpe University, part of the State and Regional Coaching Staff within the Olympic Development Program and he continues to be a National Scout for the Elite Clubs National League in the US.
