Waterloo, ON - Theres nothing quite like a good road trip. Especially when that road trip wraps up with K-W United's second win of the weekend following their Sunday match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

Clinching a 2-1 win against Pittsburgh, the United are sitting on top of the PDL's Great Lake Division next to the Michigan Bucks after winning three of their four games this season so far.

Following a delayed game due to the stormy weather, Camargo landed the first goal of the game during a penalty shot in the 30th minute -  the result of K-W forward, Koenig, being taken down by Pittsburgh's keeper.

And from there the battle continued.

Before the first half was over, the Riverhounds would come back to tie things up; issuing a challenge to K-W on the cusp of their second shutout win of the season against Dayton on Friday.

After earlier attempts at getting the United on the board were missed, midfielder Mo Adams was able to sink his first shot for K-W in the 69th minute. Not able to match their one point lead, Pittsburgh fell to K-W United who returned home after a successful weekend.

The next time the boys take the field will be on their home turf at Wilfrid Laurier's University Stadium to face off against the Cincinnati Dutch Lions on June 5 at 6:00pm. Tickets for the home opener are available for purchase at University Stadium in Waterloo.
